It’s time our County Attorney represents public interests!
For instance, this last year, on the east side, north of Stevensville, we’ve seen standing water in new places, for a long time.
Well, up along Upper Woodchuck Road, did it get wetter than usual, for longer??
And the “500 loads” of aggregate. Did that damage the road? What percentage of total damages? What insurance policies of the county were in place to cover damages? Also the “five subdivision” owners.
Perhaps our County Attorney, Howard Recht, approached the developers with prima facie evidence, and findings from corroborating witnesses, and then what happened… or would happen?
To broker a deal is a better use of public resources.
The worst use of public resources is a misdirected county-subsidized witch hunt!
