The annual Booster Club All Sport Banquet took place at Hamilton High School on June 2. Everyone was treated to a steak dinner and then a program was held to honor the Hamilton High School student athletes.
During the evening, all of the coaches were introduced, as were the extracurricular achievers of the week. Kaurie Albert and Graham Silcher were presented with the Booster Club Appreciation Award scholarships. The Booster Club Fan of the Year award went to Jim Shea, a man who has promoted Hamilton High activities for many years.
The Wall of Fame inductees are: Brad Palin, Eli Rogers, Mary Conwell, Tyler Jessop, Kyle Lubke, Dillon Francis, Graham Silcher, Owen Burch, Josh Brenneman, Tyler Pigman, Kelsi Almond, Kelsey Brangoccio, Meghan Kratofil, Casey Shifflett, Joe Robinson, Damon Stevens, Steffan Stewart, Ashley Schrammeck, Cami Westfall and Bob Huppert. The Hamilton High School Coach of the year award was presented to Steve Weston for his outstanding leadership in both football and softball. Nellie Moran was selected by the coaches as this year’s Jimmy Robbins Memorial Award winner as the outstanding student-athlete at Hamilton.
The Bronc and Lady Bronc of the Year awards closed out the evening. To be selected for this award, the senior athlete must have participated in many activities, be very coachable, has a great work ethic in school, embodies lots of school spirit and has outstanding moral character. This year, the award went to Tyler Pigman and Kelsey Brangoccio.
