The Bitterroot Bucs and the Belgrade Bandits split a double header on Sunday. The Bucs won the first game, 14-4 after five innings. Justin Biereley was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in the first game. Senior Coe Golden, who only played the first game because of graduation later in the day, went 2-for-3 and scored four runs. Zac Blackstun, who graduated on Saturday, had two RBIs and a double. Riley Philips pitched a complete game and earned the win.
Belgrade won the second game, 15-10, against a short-handed Bucs team. Bierley went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Billy Hanna took the loss for the Bucs. The Bucs and the Red Sox will play a double header on Sunday in Florence.
