Dear Editor,
This is in reply to a letter called, “Legislators don’t understand connections.” Not only does the Legislator understand the obvious downward spiral financially our country and state are heading but also the common sense people who voted them in. Sure, there are families who can use a little help now and then, but that help has led to a lot of people taking advantage of the system and everybody pays for it. Those kind of social services go over well in Europe. Pay taxes there if that’s what you want. Try living within your finances along with a smaller stronger government is better for everyone involved. I feel the Legislator understands the connection perfectly.
