The Stevensville School District celebrated the completion of a huge building project with an open house showing off the new music, choir and kitchen and lunchroom facilities which topped off a $10 million building project that also included demolition of two buildings and construction of a new 4-8 grade school building.
School Superintendent Kent Kultgen is proud of what has been accomplished and breathing a sigh of relief that it’s over. To take on a $10 million dollar building project and come in a smidgen under budget is certainly something to crow about, so he’s doing a bit of crowing right now.
The latest phase of the new facility is state of the art with acoustically designed quarters for both music and choir and a new state of the art dining facility and kitchen to boot. The new facility has been blended perfectly into the remaining old gymnasium building.
