There will be plenty of time for one-on-one support and solo exploration. \nJanuary’s theme is Art Journaling. The first week’s offering is First Layers: Water Colors\, Acrylics\, Gesso. \nUsing your choice of medium(s)\, Barb will guide you towards laying a base for your art journal\, exploring movement\, texture\, and color theory as you work. \nThe second week’s offering is Textures\, Collages\, and Stencils.  \nBarb will help you build layers onto your journal and take notice of the themes that emerge (whether you’re conscious of them or not!). \nThe third week’s offering is Mark Making with line\, stamp\, and tools. \nThe final offering is Text\, Journaling Prompts and Secret Writing. \nBegin to pour yourself into this sacred container you’ve made! Grounding\, inspiring and loving\, this practice is all about building self-appreciation\, trust and confidence. \nNo previous experience with meditation or any kind of movement (like dance or yoga) is necessary and it’s for all kinds of bodies. During some classes we use a phrase as our focus\, other classes use music\, and there’s always a bit of time at the end to doodle or journal about your experience after which sharing is welcome. \nParticipants may register for a single class\, or the entire 6-week series. \nSliding scale donation $12-$22 per class.
