The January meeting was cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns; we are all looking forward to the February meeting.  \nPeggy Holt will present a program on Kawandi\, a style/method of quilting from Western India and Pakistan\, brought there by immigrants from Africa. These Africans\, called Siddis\, introduced the kawandi stitching to India.  \nMonthly Guild meetings also include a Fat Quarter Drawing\, 50/50 Pot\, bargain sales at the Ugli Bin and a show and tell by members. \nMembership in the Guild is open to quilters from beginner through advanced. Rebecca will provide information related to CWD in Montana\, including how it affects your hunting plans\, (especially if you are planning on hunting in areas where CWD has been detected.) Although CWD has not yet been detected in the Bitterroot\, hunters should still be aware of CWD symptoms\, testing protocols and current regulations pertaining to management of the disease.
