SUMMARY:Hamilton Intersection Closure – 4th Street @ State Street
DESCRIPTION:The intersection of 4th Street and State Street in Hamilton will be closed to through traffic from 3:00 P.M. Saturday\, August 15th to 7:00 P.M. Sunday\, August 16th.  During this closure adjacent property owners will continue to have vehicle access to their homes and businesses\, however vehicles will not be able to drive through the intersection of 4th Street and State Street.  The purpose of this closure is for Bike Walk Bitterroot\, a local non-profit\, to paint a new high-visibility crosswalk at this intersection. This closure will provide for the safety of Bike Walk Bitterroot volunteers and allow enough time for the paint to dry. This project has been approved by the City of Hamilton.  Questions can be directed to the City of Hamilton Planning Department at (406) 363-6717.

SUMMARY:Hamilton Connect 93 Community Open House
DESCRIPTION:The City of Hamilton will be hosting a community open house on the Connect 93 project on Wednesday\, November 13th from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Bedford Building – 223 S. 2nd St. Hamilton.  Connect 93 is a collaborative effort between the City of Hamilton\, Community Builders\, and the Hamilton Downtown Association to examine how to make the intersection of Highway 93 and Main Street more welcoming and to better balance the mobility needs of vehicles\, bikes\, and pedestrians.  The open house will provide an overview of the project and give community members an opportunity to share their issues and ideas.  More information on Connect 93 can be found at www.connect93hamilton.com
