DESCRIPTION:St. Mary’s Mission Parish announces the sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program for children.  Meals will be made available at no charge to attending children 18 years of age and younger who have enrolled in the programs.  Children who are members of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)\, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) assistance units\, or households receiving Food Distribution Programs on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits are automatically eligible to receive free meal benefits at eligible program sites (enrolled summer programs or residential summer camps). SUMMARY:Bitterroot Quilters Guild
DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 concerns\, the Bitterroot Quilters Guild will meet Wednesday\, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Grandstands at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds\, where social distancing can be practiced. Attendees should be prepared to climb stairs and bring something to sit on to protect their clothing. No refreshments will be served. Masks are optional. \nThere will be a short business meeting\, followed by voting and installation of the 2020-2021 slate of officers and Show and Tell by the members. Tena Chapman\, Membership Chair\, will be collecting annual dues of $20 per person. \nMembership is open to quilters from beginners through advanced. To learn more\, the public is invited to attend the June meeting as a guest. The Guild does not meet during the summer months; the next general meeting is planned for September.
