DESCRIPTION:Don your favorite ugly Christmas sweater and a new identity for this holiday-themed murder mystery party! \nWe’re turning the Library’s community room into Snowflake Lodge for this fun\, interactive event\, during which guests will delight in discovering clues\, embodying their character\, and cracking the case of the Murder at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. \nWhen the registration period closes\, or the maximum number of guests (20) is reached\, each registrant will be assigned a character and provided everything they need for the event. No previous experience or acting skills required for this beginner-friendly murder mystery party. \nTwo parties available (same storyline\, please sign up for just one party):  \n\nRegister for Wednesday\, 12/14 from 12pm – 2pm\nRegister for Thursday\, 12/15 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm\n\nMurder at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Synopsis \nThe Snowflake Lodge is hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party again this year. The townspeople of Snow Falls are excited about the holiday celebration\, as the lodge is where the who’s who of society will flock to show off their not-so-fashionable holiday attire. \nUnfortunately\, sparks have flown between some of the guests lately with rumors of blackmail\, greed\, and revenge. However\, everyone has high hopes that the holiday spirit will be enough to quench the scandals–at least long enough for everybody to have a good time at the party. \nYou’ve received your ticket to the party. DESCRIPTION:Explore the universe\, both micro and macro\, and learn the science mysteries behind the natural word. \nExpect fun activities with Legos®\, paper planes\, food\, and more. Children will soon be formulating their own hypotheses\, experiments\, and documentation in order to participate in a grade-free science fair at the end of the summer.  Be sure to register as this program will get filled soon and we need to know how many supplies to have on hand. \nConcepts taught are geared towards ages 8-12\, but younger scientists/siblings 6-7 welcome. Parents/caregivers must register themselves as well as each child attending.
