DESCRIPTION:The Corvallis Civic Club will meet on Monday\, September 17\, at 7 p.m.\, in the Corvallis High School Library. Meetings are open to the public and the Civic Club welcomes the participation of all interested community members. Regular meetings generally take place on the third Monday of the month. The Corvallis Civic Club is a volunteer community group dedicated to facilitating projects of benefit to the Corvallis community. Past projects include: school/community tennis courts; tree plantings and benches on Main Street; the Corvallis to Woodside pedestrian/bike path; pathway east along Willow Creek Road; and Welcome to Corvallis signs. Most recently the group has spearheaded efforts to construct a pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the Bitterroot River at Woodside and to improve the safety of pedestrian and bike crossings in the Corvallis school zone and along the Woodside Cut-Off Road\, and lower the speed limit on the Cut-Off Road. DESCRIPTION:  \nAn AARP Driver Safety Class will be presented on Friday\, August 24 at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital\, located at 1200 Westwood Drive in Hamilton. The class will begin at 9 a.m. and lasts approximately four hours. While this safe driving strategies class is designed for drivers age 50 and over\, all drivers are welcome. The class fee is $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non-members. There are no written exams or driving tests\, and Montana mandates an insurance discount for qualified graduates. Camps are July 16th – 20th\, and the registration deadline is June 6\, 2018 for both camps. \n4th – 6th Grade Camp Details\nThis is a developmental\, non-contact camp focusing on developing the fundamentals of football. Camp is open to any incoming fourth through sixth grader. Camp will be on Monday\, Jul 16\, 2018 from 5:20pm to 8:00pm\, and Tuesday\, July 17\, 2018 from 5:20pm to 8:10pm. The cost is $30. \n7th – 8th Grade Camp Details\nThis is an all day developmental camp focusing on the fundamentals of football with limited contact\, meaning contact\, but not collisions with helmets and shoulder pads only. A quick whistle will be present at all times. Camp is open to any incoming seventh through eighth grader. Camp will be on Wednesday\, July 18\, 2018 from 12:30pm to 7:40pm\, Thursday\, July 19\, 2018 from 9:15am to 7:40pm\, and Friday\, July 20\, 2018 from 9:15am to 11:20am.
