DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, July 29th from 4:30-8PM is our 2021 Field Day at Western Agricultural Research Center\, 580 Quast Lane in Corvallis. This annual event will showcase the numerous research projects from dwarf sour cherries to edible lupines to using livestock for weed control to bitter apples for cider makers.\n\nAs a leading horticultural research facility in Montana\, we thrilled to invite our fellow agricultural growers\, legislators and those that love learning more about our work. There’ll also be vendors showing different ways to add value to crops that can be grown at home or commercially. We will provide burgers\,  beverages & special Big Dipper ice cream made with our berries. DESCRIPTION:Bitter Root Back Country Horsemen meet in person on Thursday\, August 19th at Coyote Coulee parking area.  Program Speakers will be Wyatt Day and John Winters\, members of UM’s first ever Wilderness Policy and Packing class and they will talk about their experiences in the class and on the pack trip.  Our chapter provided funding for pack trip scholarships.
