In September the visitor center will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. seven days a week and will host a variety of fall activities and interpretive programs.
Fall programs at Traveler’s Rest include:
• Sept. 11, 25 and Oct. 9, 23 (11 a.m.): Trekker Kids programs, which include activities perfect for families.
• Sept. 11 (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) & 12 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.): Commemorate the 1805 Lewis & Clark Expedition camping at Travelers’ Rest with guest speakers, activities, and programs.
