Suicide Prevention Workshop
As of 2022, Montana has the highest suicide rate in the nation (cdc.gov), a rate that has increased by 43.5% since 2020.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a suicide prevention training that teaches participants to respond empathetically and effectively to someone thinking about suicide.
QPR teaches us to recognize the warning signs of a suicidal crisis and connecting someone in crisis with helping resources. This workshop covers 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help support someone who is thinking about suicide:
- Having a conversation about suicide
- Offering hope
- Connecting someone to resources.
QPR is appropriate for any adult interested in learning how they can be part of reducing suicide in their community.
