Raptors of the Rockies at Library

September 27, 2018 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Free

Raptors of the Rockies will give a presentation on Thursday, September 27 at 5 p.m. at the North Valley Public Library in Stevensville. Come learn about and interact with live raptors. Kate Davis from Raptors of the Rockies is bringing four live raptors to help educate participants in the wonders of western Montana’s hunting birds. This program is especially for adults and teens to provide a quiet and calm environment for the avian visitors. Raptors of the Rockies, a non-profit since 1988, provides quality care to permanently disabled birds of prey, educates the public about raptors, and promotes the conservation and preservation of the habitat required by these wonderful creatures.

Kate is the author of many books on raptors, full of wonderful photographs and after the presentation will have some of her books available for sale and signature. Note: Raptors of the Rockies will return at another time for a children’s program, but this one is suitable for adults and teens. North Valley Public Library is located at 208 Main Street, Stevensville. For more information, call 406-777-5061 or visit northvalleylibrary.org. All library programs are free and open to the public.
