Painting the West – Solo Art Exhibition by Western Artist Rick Kennington
In “Painting the West,” Rick Kennington turns his eye to the landscapes, animals, and traditions that shaped his early years in Utah and Wyoming. Through this new collection, he offers a grounded view of the Western way of life, moments that speak to loyalty, strength, and connection to place. These works reflect Kennington’s lifelong relationship with the ranching world.
Horses, working cowboys, and open country appear throughout the show, shown with a mix of realism and impressionistic brushwork. Each piece holds a familiarity, rooted in both memory and experience. “Painting the West” is a reflection on strength, stillness, and the values that endure across generations.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, September 19th, from 5–7 PM to experience the exhibition in person. The show will be up until mid October.
