Western Montana Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation invites the community to its Fall Open House and Tack Sale on Saturday, October 20, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 1252 Willow Creek Road, approximately 4 miles east of Corvallis. In addition to selling tack and other merchandise, there will be free presentations all day, demonstrations by veterinarian Tom Currier, Breeze McCormack (acupuncture), Kari Schiffman (Valley Equine Massage), Krissta Rexis (Advantage Therapeutics), Mustang Matt (TIP Trainer), and Anniston the Liberty Horse. Stop by to enjoy a bowl of chili while the kids ride a Parsons Pony (between 10 and 1). Meet some of the rescue horses and learn more about adopting, fostering, and volunteering with WMERR. On Friday, October 19, from 5 until 7 p.m., youth equestrian groups are invited to a preview night with a demonstration of liberty training with Anniston. All members are offered a 50% discount on all tack items, including over 15 saddles.
