NVPL Big Book Sale
Stevensville Library Book Sale set for October
The annual Big Book Sale to benefit the North Valley Public Library in Stevensville will be held Oct. 2-3 in the library Community Room.
As in previous years, the sale—which will feature hardbacks, children and teen books, paperbacks, and so much more—will take place as part of the town’s annual Scarecrow Festival events.
Sale hours will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Books again will be sold at $2 per inch of stacked books. A fill-the-bag sale will take place the last 90 minutes on Oct. 3.
Donation days will be Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the library’s Community Room. There will be no early drop-offs in the library this year.
All items will be checked when donated and the following will not be accepted: magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, poetry books, computer and tech manuals, VHS and cassette tapes, and worn, torn, or moldy books.
The NVPL Foundation and Friends of the Library are presenting the sale. The library Community Room is located at 208 Main St., Stevensville.
