Bitterroot Valley's best source for local news!
The Bitterroot Star online calendar is only for community events that are free and events that would be fundraisers for local non-profit organizations.
When submitting an event, be sure to include date(s), time, venue (location), and organizer information. Your event will not be published if any of this information is missing. We review all events before we post them. This may take up to 2 business days.
Come celebrate National Public Lands Day with the Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation and the Bitterroot National Forest as we continue stewardship of the Roaring Lion Creek Trail #124. There is still much work to be done to repair the trail after the destructive fire that burned here in 2016. Volunteers will assist with clearing fallen trees, brushing, cleaning drains, and redefining the trail tread.
National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort to benefit public lands. Your contributions will help ensure that public lands remain accessible and beautiful places for all to enjoy.
