In this class, students will:
- write, record, and edit music with Ableton Live; a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)
- learn the basics of sample based song creation
- use “found sounds” to create musical pieces
- learn different microphone techniques for capturing sound in the studio;
- learn to plan and organize a studio session;
- hone their skills as a studio musician and/or producer;
- explore career opportunities in the music business
