About Our Auction

What started as an auction to help Loads of Dignity reach our $5,000 matching goal quickly turned into something even greater, thanks to our incredible community. We met the match before the auction even began! Your support reminds us how strong we are when we come together. Each bid now helps us continue providing free laundry days, clean clothes, and restored confidence and Dignity for our neighbors in need. Together, we’re keeping the washers running and dignity alive…one load at a time.
About Loads of Dignity
We are a nonprofit that has been offering a service to the homeless and low-income community in the Bitterroot Valley since 2019. We offer them the opportunity to wash their clothing and bedding for free. We provide quarters, laundry detergent, and fabric softener. In addition to free washing, we provide hygiene bags for adults and activity/hygiene bags for children. With a housing shortage, we are seeing more and more growth in the homeless population in our valley.
Our mission is to “Restore Dignity one load at a time.” When an individual or family is homeless, dignity is lost. With our services, feelings of self-worth, self-esteem, and dignity can be restored. Children can go to school with clean clothing, have showered, and not become targets for bullying. Fewer days will be missed at school, and test scores and friendships will improve.
Establishing relationships, offering a nonjudgmental atmosphere, and showing compassion complete the goal of dignity for all guests, no matter where they live.
