10 week class, every Wednesday & Thursday
January 12 – March 17, 2022
4:30pm – 6:30pm
In this class, students will:
- learn the basics of song creation;
- create both an instrumental and lyric based piece;
- write, record, and edit music in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW);
- learn different microphone techniques for capturing sound in the studio;
- learn to plan and organize a studio session;
- hone their skills as a studio musician and/or producer;
- explore career opportunities in the music business;
