Fly Fishers of the Bitterroot

January 7, 2020 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Fly Fishers of the Bitterroot will meet Tuesday, January 7 at BJ’s restaurant in Hamilton. Social hour is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the presentation starting at 7 p.m. Cocktails and dinner are optional. The speaker will be Eddie Orwell with the topic being “The rebirth of a river—Fly Fishing Montana’s Clark Fork.” Eddie has fished since the age of 13 and his quest for trout on the fly has taken him across North America to New Zealand and the Patagonia Region of Chile. He has fished the waters of western Montana since 1977 and began guiding on them since 1999. He is a patient instructor on fly tying and one of the hardest working guides on the river. He spends much of his free time volunteering with local conservation groups to preserve natural resources and our hunting and fishing heritage. If you like fishing, this club is the club you want to join. For more information call Daneel at 961-0187.
