North Valley Public Library invites you to First Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. to hear trumpeter Elliott Oppenheim, accompanied by Rob Thomas and Linda Uzzell, playing, “Something old, something blue, something borrowed, and something Blue… as in Rhapsody.”
This concert includes classics from Mozart to Gershwin, with Oppenheim on a vintage cornet, the piccolo trumpet, and the E-flat trumpet. He rocks the First Movement from Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto… and Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever on the flugelhorn!
Oppenheim, a trumpeter from Florence, believes music can help overcome conflict and offer peace. Thomas, a professional pianist from Hamilton, brings music to life. Uzzell is from Stevensville and plays multiple instruments.
North Valley Public Library is located at 208 Main Street, Stevensville. For more information, call 406-777-5061 or visit northvalleylibrary.org. All library programs are free and open to the public.
