Come to an unusual, free, outdoor concert of late Renaissance and early Baroque music on the west lawn of the Bitterroot Public Library, 306 State St., Hamilton. It happens on Saturday, June 29, at 5:30 p.m., and features Bozeman violinist Carrie Krause plus her friends, the Dark Horse Consort, playing cornetto, two sackbuts (early trombones) and theorbo (long-necked base lute). Bring a lawn chair. Prepare to be amazed. For more information, call Alex Shaffer at (314) 852-5099 or email the sponsoring group at bitterrootbaroque@gmail.com.
