Back Country Horsemen

Bitter Root Back Country Horsemen host their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 17th at the Corvallis School Cafeteria on Eastside Highway in Corvallis. Potluck dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the general meeting starts at 7 p.m. Speakers will be Smoke Elser and Lee Bowman (MWA Shining Mountain chapter president) presenting the program “Trails in the Bob: Past, Present, and Future.” Members do not need to own a horse or mule to be part of the group. Several of the volunteers hike to clear trails and there are many jobs that the group does for the community that don’t require an equine partner. Guests and new members are always welcome.
