Join us in the North Valley Public Library. Author Larry Watson introduces “The Lives of Edie Pritchard” with a virtual reading followed by a live Q & A session on Thursday, November 19, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Set in Montana this story is getting great reviews. “The story of a woman loved by twin brothers was born years ago,” shares Larry.
“A smart, strong Montana woman struggles to define herself over decades as the men in her life try to control her.
Watson’s novel is set against the rugged landscape of Montana, the perfect backdrop for a story about a woman who spends her life running up against and away from mountains of male ego and desire.” Kirkus Review.
Larry Watson’s novel “Let Him Go” was adapted to film, soon to be released in November starring Kevin Costner. Several other novels have now been optioned for the film industry. “Montana 1948” winner of Milkweed National Fiction Prize earned this soft spoken professor a loyal fan base.
