Bitterroot Valley's best source for local news!
The Bitterroot Star online calendar is only for community events that are free and events that would be fundraisers for local non-profit organizations.
When submitting an event, be sure to include date(s), time, venue (location), and organizer information. Your event will not be published if any of this information is missing. We review all events before we post them. This may take up to 2 business days.
Each year, community volunteers rally to clean thousands of pounds of trash from our Bitterroot River. This year’s Clean Up is on Saturday, August 13 and is a fun way for friends and families to volunteer for our community. Volunteers sign up for either floating or walking stretches of the river from Sula and Painted Rocks to the confluence at the Clark Fork in Missoula. Volunteers can clean up on their own schedule, and gather at one of three breweries from Stevensville to Darby on the evening of August 13 to celebrate with a free beer and good friends.
