Alzheimer’s Presentation

Two free presentations by the Alzheimer’s Association will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Pastoral Center, 422 S. 5th St, Hamilton. “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia” will be presented Wednesday, October 31 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Learn the impact of Alzheimer’s and dementia, the difference, stages of the disease, risk factors, treatment options, and resources. “Effective Communication Strategies with People who have Alzheimer’s or Dementia” will be presented Wednesday, November 13 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Learn the stages of the disease, how to communicate in each stage, how to decode verbal and behavioral changes, what resources are available.
