Hamilton prevailed in three games but both teams put forth a valiant effort. The third game was played right to the wire with Hamilton winning the game, 26-24 and the match. Our intensity has been a bit low in our other matches, said Hamilton coach DeEtte Monson. Weve been working on our placement. Tiffani Kemig has been doing really, really well on her placement serving. We kind of feed off of her. Kemig led the Broncs with six aces. They just outplayed us, said first year coach Kasey Arceniega who played for the Blue Devils in 2000. I knew it was going to be a battle. We won some really long rallies but they exploited our defense and put the ball where we werent. We just could not adjust quick enough. Arceniega, the former Kasey Smith, recognizes she has a young team and is working on building confidence and skills.
