New director at Ravalli County MuseumBy Michael Howell Tamar Stanley, the new Director of the Ravalli County Museum, Tamar Stanley, is not exactly new to the Ravalli County Museum or to the job of museum director. She has already served as the museum's Interim Director following the retirement of past Executive Director Helen Ann Bibler. Stanley worked as a museum assistant for about six months before that. All of this was preceded by years of volunteer work as part of Apple Days. She has fond memories of the team work involved in producing the tasty Butte tamales and, following that, the "legendary and delicious" McIntosh apple pies. More...
