Hamilton High School drama productionThe Hamilton High School Play Productions class is proud to present Joseph Stein's sidesplitting play, Enter Laughing. This unheralded play, based on the novel by Carl Reiner, has entertained audiences for years. It is a riotous account of a stage-struck youth (Richard Lacey) who works as a delivery boy in a sewing machine factory. His parents (Byron King and Rissa Holmes) want him to be a druggist, but as soon as he's saved enough money he enlists in a hammy, semi professional company managed by a seasoned actor (Jonathan White) who will put anybody in any play for the right amount of money. The young man is a dreadful actor and the scene of his first performance is hilarious. He proceeds to splash through romantic scenes with the manager's daughter (Chrissy Dowdy), with another fellow's date and finally with the girl who was meant for him all the time. Other cast and crew members include: Ryan Splatt, Leisy Rogers, Jeff Embree, Wyatt Lawrence, Ian Curtiss, Alex Ridgeway, Ashlee Ferro, Pranki Romano.
