Support for Ray

October 8, 2014 by Guest Post

I have written this letter to support the candidacy of Jennifer Bedey Ray, who is seeking to become the next Department 1 Justice of the Peace in Ravalli County. I have known Jennifer for over 20 years and can attest to her capacity for hard work and to her dedication to serving our community.

For several years we worked together as emergency medical technicians (EMTs), making countless ambulance runs. During that time what impressed me most about Jennifer was her coolness under pressure even under the most stressful conditions. Jennifer’s ability to exercise sound judgment when responding to medical emergencies benefited our patients. This same quality will make her a great judge as she makes decisions that affect a citizen’s property and liberty.

Jennifer Bedey Ray has a proven record of voluntary community service. She has worked for the power company and for a private engineering firm. She gained experience in Justice Court, administrating Judge Jim Bailey’s court. Most importantly, she has served on the bench as a substitute justice of the peace several times over the past seven years.

Experience. Commitment. Decisiveness. Jennifer has them all. I urge you to cast your ballot for Jennifer Bedey Ray – Justice of the Peace for Department 1.
