I would like to address a letter I saw a week or so ago about how Scott Boulanger was the better of the two running for state senate. If you want someone who follows the party line and never thinks on their own than Scott is the man for the job. His voting record shows just that, he voted straight party line, doesn’t appear to want to work with the other side, no compromise, no give and take. When you vote straight party line like that it’s easy to have a hundred percent record. Pat, on the other hand, has proven that he can work with the other side and get things done. He has the respect of leaders from both sides and knows the issues. Pat is a leader and sponsored several bills, worked on land issues, jobs, timber management. Pat was elected by the citizens of Ravalli County last election season, beating Scott. Scott was appointed to finish out Senator Bob Lake’s term. Appointed by the same people who appointed Stamey as county treasurer. I will be casting my vote for Pat.
