Hannah Porch led her Florence Falcon team to a second place finish at the Class B track meet in Bozeman. Porch won the 100 meter race and ran a leg on the 4×100 meter relay which Florence won. Porch also placed second in the 200 and third in the triple jump. Joining Porch on the relay team were her sister, Tess, Hannah Sax and Callie Hunt. Tess Porch finished fifth in the 100 and fourth in the 300 hurdles.
Madison Bolton won the 800 with a time of 1:59.40. He was third in the 1600. Brady Heffner finished fourth in both the 100 and the 200.
Victor’s Kyle Ball finished his high school career with a couple of state championships. He won the javelin with a throw of 174 feet. He also won the triple jump with a leap of 43’ 7 ½” . Ball also was third in the long jump behind his teammate, Zac Agee, who finished second. The Pirates placed sixth in the 400 relay behind Charlo, Hot Springs, Seeley-Swan, Belt and Culbertson.
Darby’s Dylan Knox was fourth in the 300 hurdles. Storm Wanstrath finished sixth in the javelin.
The Darby girls were led by Keely Ehmann’s second place finish in the 400 and third place finish in the 200. Sarai McCollaum finished fourth in the 100. The 400 relay team finished sixth. The girls’ 3,200 was a tight race with only four seconds separating the top four racers. Jessica George of Twin Bridges won the race with a time of 11:55.05. Lily Lang of Darby fiished fourth with a time of 11:59.89
