Obituary – David J. Bush
Stevensville – David J. Bush, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 16, 2013 at his home in Stevensville, Montana, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Dave was blessed by the loving care of his wife and children.
Born in Woodland, California, June 7, 1933, the only child of William and Cecile Bush. He is survived by his wife Jeanine, of 57 years, his son Marc and his wife Becky of Stevensville, MT, his daughter, Beth Mogensen and her husband Mark of Victor, MT, five wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Jamie, Alisha, and Danielle, along with three great grandchildren, Kristopher, Ashtyn, and Mara.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years as a Crew Chief and in 1956 married Jeanine Grace Balukoff. Upon his honorable discharge from the service, he started his own painting and drywall business in Woodland, CA. In 1984 he and his wife bought their Montana dream property to enjoy their passion for the great outdoors.
He had many hobbies including model building, fishing, hunting, boating and landscape design. After his retirement, he was continuously improving the land on his ranch which he loved, and he fulfilled his lifelong dream of participating in the construction of his own private airplane. .
The family is having a private ceremony on the ranch.

Obituary – Roy Sherman Shriner
Missoula – Roy Sherman Shriner, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at his home in Missoula of natural causes.
Roy was born on November 2, 1942 in Missoula to Roy and Anna (Perry) Shriner. He attended schools in Stevensville and at the Vo-Tech in Missoula.
Roy served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 until he received his honorable discharge in 1966.
On July 2, 1982, Roy married the love of his life and life partner, Sarah H. Fredrickson in Idaho.
Roy worked in many different fields including Missoula Textile Company, Stimson’s Bonner Mill, St. Patrick Hospital and as a security officer in Texas and most recently for Securitas Security Services until his death.
Roy was a member of the Stevensville American Legion Post #94, BARC (Bitterroot Amateur Radio Club), Ham Radio Club and the Missoula Elks. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, reading, ham radios and bowling. Roy had many friends across the United States as well as around the world because of his passion for ham radios.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna Shriner; brothers, Calvin and Louis; a son, Eric Shriner and his loving wife Sarah Shriner. Survivors include a brother, Duane McKinney of Wyoming; a sister, Nola Woods of Corvallis, MT; daughters, Tammy Cutsforth and Sissy and her husband Dan Joubert, both of Missoula; a son, Kenny Fredrickson of Texas; a daughter, Carol Garcia of Texas; a niece, Leslie Korf of Polson; several other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Stevensville. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Roy’s ham radio buddies. A potluck reception to celebrate Roy’s life will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall at 825 Ronan Street in Missoula.
