The Stevensville boy’s soccer team won their first round playoff game with a 3-2 overtime victory over Bigfork. The two teams were tied at 2-all at the end of regulation play. Stevensville’s Joseph Fecteau scored an unassisted goal in the last minute of the second overtime period to lift the ‘Jackets into the next round.
Bigfork scored both of their goals in the first half while Stevensville got hot in the second half. Stevensville’s first goal was at the 57th minute when Joseph Daniels hit the back of the net. Daniels took a Fecteau assist and converted it for the second goal at 65 minutes. Stevensville’s keeper, JJ O’Bannon had eight saves while Bigfork’s keeper had three saves. Stevensville took 14 shots and Bigfork took 19 shots.
Stevensville will play Billings Central in the semi finals on Saturday in Billings.
Corvallis lost to Billings Central, 2-1, in the opening round. The first half was a battle with neither team scoring. Billings Central scored at the 50-minute mark and the 58-minute mark. Corvallis scored when Ricardo Atiencia made an unassisted goal at 75 minutes. Corvallis took 10 shots on goal while Billings Central had 12 shots on goal. Corvallis Keeper Shelby Gifford had three saves.

The Hamilton girls lost a tough game to the Park County Rangers in Hamilton. Hamilton scored at the 29-minute mark when Sami Kratofil booted a goal across the field to the back corner of the net. The Rangers came out in the second and scored at 66 minutes to tie the game and then again at 70 minutes for the win. Hamilton keeper Marina McGourty had five saves. Corvallis lost to Whitefish, 2-0. The strong defense of the Bulldogs made it difficult for Corvallis to get any shots. They only took four shots on goal. Keeper Roxy Rademacher had 18 saves for Corvallis. Corvallis finished their season with a record of 5-7-1.
