This is a huge congratulations to J. Ward of Lolo who was selected as the winner of the 2023 Ravalli County Darwin awards for his erudite post in the Bitterroot Star Dec. 6, 2023.
His prize is from Plato for pithy comments that show Ward is a deep thinker. The three best comments? Third: Illegal immigrants at the border teach us why America is so great. His second best comment that made us stand up and cheer? Snow removal from the government!! Wow, that one took lots of cerebral thought. But the number one winner that overcame them all? Biden – the leader of the free world – a REAL MAN!
Here is his prize to print out and put in his bedroom on the wall to remember when he drifts off at night:

While I don’t agree with Ward, I don’t find it necessary to name call and be rude. This isn’t the first time you have been flat out condescending Helen. Btw, I don’t know who you vote for, but I suspect when the curtain closes there is a lot of D with checks by them.
