You’re invited you to our annual 2023 Field Day at Western Agricultural Research Center (WARC) on Thursday, July 27th from 4:30-8:30pm. This is our only annual public event where we share the research that we conduct, as the only horticultural research center in Montana. Our reach is statewide with applicable solutions for everyone from homeowners to small-scale farmers and producers.
We hope you can join us! We ask for an RSVP so we have a general headcount for planning purposes, we expect between 200-250 people.
The event flyer is attached & please feel free to share widely.
A little bit about WARC:
How to successfully grow the best tasting, most nutritious and reliable fruits and vegetables and how to manage pests and diseases on smaller, local organic farms and at home has been the mission for the MSU-WARC for over 116 years. Meanwhile, interest in supporting small farms & producers has exploded over the last decade and the demand for this research is expanding also. Research at the center has helped pioneer development of new agricultural opportunities for farmers across the state of Montana and beyond based on growing high value, small-acres horticulture crops such as vegetables, grapes, apples and berries. It remains as the state’s only research center focused on horticulture and corresponding vital extension education.
