The Corvallis girls won the Wayne Estes Track Meet in Anaconda on Saturday, outscoring second place Belgrade by 30 points. Hamilton came in third.
Corvallis had a couple of multiple winners. Paige Squire won three events to give the Blue Devils the edge. Squire set another mark in the state in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.36, a tenth of a second faster than her previous mark. She also won the 300 hurdles and the 200. Freshman Ayden Eickoff won the 800 and the 1,600. Corvallis also won both the 4×100 relay and the 4×400 relay. The Blue Devils picked up three more event wins. Sadi Henderson won the 400, Lakyn Connors won the triple jump and Aspen Evans won the pole vault. Hamilton’s Kelsi Almond won the 100.
The Corvallis boys edged out Belgrade as well, outscoring the Panthers by nine points. Colby Henderson won the 800. Chris Jessop, who was second in the 800, won the 1,600. Logan Connors continued his dominance in the javelin, winning that event with a throw of 185’4”, almost 20 feet farther than second place. Lucas Walden won the triple jump with an effort of 41’6 ½”. Tyler Berner won the pole vault, clearing the bar at 12 feet.
Josh Lords of Stevensville was the only other Bitterroot Valley event winner. He won the long jump with a leap of 20’ 1 ½”.

Florence, Darby and Victor were in Missoula at the final Seeley-Swan Invitational of the season. The Florence boys came away with the team win, topping Charlo by two points and Darby by three in a very close race. Ross Mangun was the only winner for the Falcons. He won the long jump and the triple jump. However Florence had several athletes who placed in their events which propelled the Falcons to the win.
Darby’s Aaron Johnston won the 100 and the 400 meter races, and he ran the anchor leg of the 1,600 relay. Doug Raymer won the 800 and 1,600 for the Tigers and Sean Abrahamsen capped the distances for Darby with a win in the 3,200.
Victor’s Kurt Manley out-threw Noxon’s Adam Moore in the javelin by two feet. Tyler Coorough won the 200 and came in fifth in the 100 meter spring and third in the triple jump.
The Florence girls also won on Saturday. Megan Leathers brought home two first place medals in the shot put and the discus. Tess Porch won the 100 meter race and was third in the 200 meter race. Sherry Leedom won the 3,200 meter race for the final first place finish for Florence.
