You have all heard about the fog of war, I think there is also a fog of politics. Of late I’ve been a wee bit confused as to who is running things at the White House. It looks like a unique alliance may be in charge. Maybe better referred to as an unholy alliance. There is a definite preference for socialism displayed in nearly every major policy decision. This brings Past President Obama to mind. There is an equal dedication of policies to support the religious climate extremists. This brings past presidential candidate and Secretary of State Kerry to mind. Just think what has occurred! Obama and Kerry are in lock step and are most likely major factors in all White House councils. Nearly every major policy issue is slanted to support one or both ways of thought. The combination is frightening as on one hand socialists must control every facet of life if they are to be successful and the environmental extremist must control every one’s carbon footprints. Hey, what’s left? Surely this President has no ability to conceive of legislation such as we are witnessing. However, if told what to say and kept to their prescribed script, he can give serious lectures to all of us on any subject they choose to write a speech about. Unfortunately, it looks like he is the minion.
So through the political fog we see two creatures of the past holding sway over the equivalent of old Charlie McCarthy’s dummy. They present us with dire predictions and impossible goals all in the name of the common man and saving planet earth. So far the result has been the woeful litany of policies resulting in inflation, open borders, rampant crime and transfer of wealth from the common man to the elite at an ever increasing rate. Oh, maybe you wonder about the reference to the common man. I ask you, who do you think the 87,000 new IRS agents (willing to use deadly force) are gonna go after? No wonder they only speak of “our Democracy” and carefully avoid the word Republic. If they can sell democracy, then mob rule will be at hand.
These thoughts by a racist white man that is homophobic, against law and order, and all the other faults in the Biden litany including expendable, may give you pause to consider carefully your vote in November. Try to look at the forest, not the trees. Somehow we must arrest this trend toward abolishing our Republic though an ever expanding federal complex.
Remember the words in our Pledge of Allegiance: “We pledge allegiance to the flag… and to the Republic for which it stands…” That Republic is under daily assault. Our votes in November will affect the lives of generations to come. You may also consider the ancient words of Plato: “If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.” Frankly, I suspect that over the millennia mankind hasn’t changed one damn bit.
