Terri Lackey, are you okay? These phrases from your letter of July 13th blatantly contradict each other: tyrants do not compromise – that’s what makes them tyrants.
“Jesus NEVER compromised!” That doesn’t make sense either. The whole New Testament is about love, about recognizing and honoring the humanity of all human beings and treating everyone the way we want to be treated. As far as we can know, Jesus did not compromise his own integrity, and part of that included “compromising” with regard to other people’s “sins,” considering that he apparently hung out with prostitutes and so on and even forgave them – and all of us.
Your endless questions regarding Covid-19 are also, well, questionable. If you don’t want to get vaccinated or wear a mask or take other precautions, don’t; just be aware that you may be a hazard to other people, even people you love, and so they may choose to stay away from you.
Even your capitalized warning against the mainstream media is awkward. People want information, and while all the media participate in our capitalistic and sensationalized culture, none of them is owned or run by the government. If you want to believe the one that reinforces what you already want to believe, you can choose that. But Fox News, for example, is a laughably irresponsible and cultish kind of tv entertainment compared with the internationally sourced and researched newspapers, magazines, and telecasts that have been around a good deal longer.
I have to say that, while I did not and would never vote for him, our former president did a great job at showing how rickety our American democracy is by taking advantage of it in every way he could figure out and encouraging “the crazies” who believe not in American democracy, but in a white, Christian patriarchy such as we have long appeared to have and such as you seem to favor.
That’s tyranny, and it is out of touch with reality and cannot survive.

You might be interested to know that the first COVID vaccine approved by the FDA was given DECEMBER 11, 2020.
Therefore, folks who died from COVID in 2020 did not get the disease from vaxed ship crew.

Bitterrooter – you should pay attention to the word “approved…” RUSSIA HAD the first vaccine in august 2020….long before Dec 2020. What is interesting is that smart people who do not trust the USA medicines nor the Russian ones have not been vaccinated and rely on natural antibodies. I hope you did the same. If the research from the Front line Doc is true – you gave yourself a death shot.
And if you have a gripe with the info – take it up with the writer of the article. but thanks for writing. At least 4 people read the Star online or at least respond on line.

Look up the death of a British woman whose cause of death was listed as the vaccine. Then go to front line docs. They have a bunch too. I am talk to my husband‘s family who had two cousins die within a week of each other right after I got the vaccine. They had no hard problems ever in their medical history. Take that to your cigarette and smoke it Gomez. Stop with the MJ you and Bob

Uh OH Bitterrooter – did you see where in January Old Joe said the pandemic was due to the unvaccinated? Now that he has covid he is saying something else. hahahahahaha. And if he only has mild symptoms why are they giving him paxlovid? So the vaccine doesn’t work huh?

Your statement about not wearing a mask or not getting a vaccine makes you a “hazard” to others is incorrect. Those who have been vaccinated and boosted can infect others especially in confined spaces. Masks do NOT stop the virus flowing in and out through masks as they are too small and can go through all paper /fiber masks. Further, breathing out and in can cause you to spread and/or catch the virus as it is an airborne particle.
The vaccines can give you some immunity to the virus but no where near what natural immunity does. For example, my husband and I got covid from a fully vaxxed person, and after we recovered we had our natural immunity anti-bodies checked. I had a score of 25 and my husband a score of 1. Anything above a one is good according to Dr. Hutton at the Bitterroot Urgent care site.
Vaccines can cause others to catch it from anyone whether they are vaxxed or not. For example, a Coral Princess cruise ship that demanded all be boosted as well as vaxxed were refused entry to a port of entry due to covid being on board. Check Forbes, June 11 and writer Victoria Foster. The same ship had two deaths from covid in 2020, yet the passengers and crew were supposed to be vaxxed.
A navy ship that had sailors who were vaxxed and double boosted had to return to port due to many on the ship having covid. Go on google and read!
And as far as masking? I agree with you. IF you do NOT want to wear them don’t. But those that don’t are NOT “dangerous” to others. NOPE, SORRY MARY. Go do some research and learn the facts.
And as far as Jesus, I suggest you go read, Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls by John Bergsma. It might open your eyes and maybe your mind?
Before you opine again start with being educated. You open yourself up to criticism due to your lack of facts and your emotional responses to what others write and that causes you to get criticized because what you write is typically nonsense, illogical and lacks facts. Your voice is appreciated but NOT your lack of facts. Try to improve those please.
