This year’s Business Battle for Books fundraiser to benefit the North Valley Public Library brought in more than $700 during the month-long competition among Stevensville merchants.
Blacksmith Brewery was the winner, and the brewery received a basket filled with Montana-made sweet treats, including candy donated by the Montana Chocolate Company in Stevensville.
Other competitors were Ace Hardware, Burnt Fork Market, Cenex, CJ’s Den, Engel & Volkers, Fireside Pizza and Sandwich, High Country Club, Kodiak Jax, Kutting Edge Salon, Lonesome Dove, Montana Distillery, Napa Auto Parts, Ole’s, Stevensville Hardware, Tin Can Bar & Draft Room, Valley Drug and Variety, Wildwood Brewery, and Yaskus Family Dental.
The fundraiser was organized by the North Valley Public Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds through grants, donations, and events to support and enhance the operations of the library.
