Support for Rusk

April 19, 2022 by Guest Post

by Rep. Sharon Greef, HD88, Florence

I think whenever anyone in public service comes to the point where they’ve made the decision to step down, they feel a responsibility to have a person that is imminently qualified to serve run for the office being vacated. That is exactly the position I was in but I knew there was someone willing to put their name on the ballot and run.

Wayne has come to Helena each session since my husband Ed was representing HD88 and sat in on floor sessions, testified in committees and learned everything he could soak in when he was there. I am honored to support him 100%.

Wayne is a man with an amazing knowledge of history, government and politics. I’ve witnessed his seemingly photographic memory which will serve him well as he serves in Helena.

I was out visiting with people in Stevensville recently, knocking doors with Wayne’s daughter, Olivia. She said, ‘This is  just Dad’s passion’. I agree, Olivia, and we need your Dad in Helena! It was such fun meeting people in town that knew Wayne’s great-grandparents! His roots are deep. His heart is willing. His passion is strong.

Wayne is a wonderful family man, enjoying life with his lovely wife Carrie and children Olivia and Nathan. He is a man of character with a great desire to serve and use the talents God gave him to benefit the State of Montana. His Christian values will serve him well in Helena.

Wayne will strongly support pro-life legislation. He will also be protecting our second amendment rights. He serves as co-chair of the Ravalli County Collaborative, demonstrating his deep base of knowledge on public lands. Wayne is a solid conservative with a good mind and a good heart.

I urge you to vote for Wayne. He will listen to you. He will work for you. You will not be disappointed.

Wayne Rusk is also a good candidate to be a skills instructor at the new BVCC college if the levy passes and if he does NOT win this house seat. HE knows tile and could teach that as a skill to those who don’t want an AA degree in Race and Minorities. He also knows business and cold be a full time professor. It’s amazing that the two men running for this seat are BOTH business people and both conservatives but show the quality of people living in the Bitterroot. Good luck Wayne.
