Sydney Allen for Ward 2

October 12, 2021 by Guest Post

by Susan Devlin, Stevensville

Sydney Allen is running against two-time quitter, twice sued (and lost costing the town $178,600+) town council member Michalson for Ward 2.

Sydney Allen has been serving on the council for several months. She was appointed when Vick resigned

She’s bright, intelligent, understands the laws. I’ve been very impressed with her thoughtful consideration of items that come up during council meetings. She doesn’t hesitate to ask for clarification if she has questions when a motion is before the council.

She’s a graduate of U of M and is a teacher.

She’s honest, her only agenda is to listen to the townspeople and follow through.

Please consider honesty and integrity when you mark your ballot…vote for Sydney Allen.

No, she is filling the seat Patrick Shourd vacated by his resignation.

I do not think she knows very much about being a council member. She clearly did not understand council vs. mayoral powers. I explained those for the council and she was clearly unaware and proved that she did not understand the law by allowing the mayors assumption of powers that he is not authorized to continue.

So do not think that just because someone got appointed that they are aware. Go look at the voting records. Aye, aye, aye following the mayors lead.

If the mayor would have enforced the town’s personnel policy manual there might never have been a law suit in the e first place.

So Jim Crews, what does your wife “Cynthia L Brown” know about the laws governing town governments?
