The Montana High School Association met virtually last week to work on post season play for the fall sports and winter practice schedules.
Cross country championships will be held in Kalispell but will have two days instead of one for the state championship. Class A and Class B will compete on Friday, October 23. Class AA and Class C will compete on Saturday, October 24.
District volleyball sites are still being set up. District 13C was scheduled to have their tournament at Valley Christian in Missoula. However, due to COVID restrictions, the Missoula County Health Department has nixed that. As of right now, the teams will be playing a single elimination style tournament with the lower seeds traveling to the higher seed’s school.
Class A will determine their post season play later this week.
The state tournaments in volleyball will be held at different sites instead of at MSU in Bozeman.
Winter sports competition have been delayed until January 4, 2021. Practice for basketball and wrestling will begin on December 7, 2020.
