Thanks to Marc Mentel, president of the MT Medical Association, for your great opinion piece, ‘Shut up, cowboy up, mask up.’ In a time when we are lacking honest information from the federal government about how to keep ourselves safe during Covid-19, we need real medical professionals to tell us what we should be doing right and what works.
Recently the head of the health department in Ravalli County stepped down because the county commissioners refused to follow the governor’s mask mandate…three Republican commissioners and the sheriff, refused to follow the guidelines, which leaves the public confused as to what is the right thing to do…WEAR a mask, WASH your hands, WATCH your distance, is so much easier then ending up trying to get into a hospital or doctor, all of which are understaffed and swamped.
Our economy will never be able to open up safely as long as people are disregarding the medical experts. People will keep getting sick and dying, and the economy will go in the dumpster. COWBOY UP, QUIT BEING DUMB.
