The Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame Debacle continues.
The MCHF Board has wasted nearly $1 million and no one has been held to account.
The only way to resolve the malfeasance and waste is for a reorganization of MCHF.
For three years I have requested a membership meeting for that purpose, however, the board will not allow that to happen.
I was shocked when I attended the MCHF Annual Meeting on February 8th to again request a membership meeting. The board was aware of my intentions, and lo and behold, a fifteen-minute business meeting was conducted, then it was abruptly adjourned. No public comment was permitted. The board doesn’t want the people to know about the malfeasance and waste of taxpayer money.
These letters to the editor are the only means of informing Montanans.
One can bet the MCHF Inductees wouldn’t have condoned such conduct.
I have to ask, if we are to turn a blind eye to the MCHF Board atrocities, how can we ever hope to contain the waste and scandal in government today?
