I don’t know where Claire Kelly gets the idea that White Christian Americans believe they are genetically pure and superior to the rest of humanity as she put it. I don’t know of any White Christians that feel they are superior. She is confusing this with Nazi Germany who felt that their atheistic, communist ideologies were pure and better than all others.
I don’t care what DNA trail she follows, as she put so much of it in her article, we are all a mixture if you trace back your family’s history. But let me say this to her, first on applications and official documents it asks are you white, African descent, Hispanic, American Indian or other. So when filling out these applications one must choose where they fit best.
Let me also explain that Nazi atheistic ideologies led to killing of thousands of innocent Jews. Muslims have been warring and killing since 624 AD and are now killing Christians by the thousands. American Indians fought other American Indians and killed each other, and China is now killing and arresting Christians. I can find in every nation, nationality and religion where they have had slaves and wars and killed.
So stop blaming white Christians for everything because it is not true! All have come short of how humanity should treat each other. As far as religion and Christ, we ALL have fallen short and we’re in need of a Savior, the only one who was perfect. I also don’t know why you would say Christ was brown, as the Bible does NOT tell us what color he was when he lived on earth.
You claim your Americanness comes from two facts–mine and every one born here, their Americanness comes from that fact. I don’t have to add anything to lineage, nor does anyone else like you have indicated, and for your information just because your DNA says you came from a certain area does not mean you personally inherited those traits!
You talk about bigotry and not loving–look in the mirror and you will find a person who in your opening statement put down White Christians. That’s bigotry and non-tolerance and not loving. You said your ancestors had survival skills and bigger brains–seems to me you think you are superior.
Practice what you preach and stop blaming whites and Christians for all things, all peoples and nations and religions have done in the past.
