Garden Club Plant Giveaway

The Stevensville Garden Club will be giving away plants at a display in front of the North Valley Public Library on Friday, May 4 starting at 5 p.m. Club members will have plants that have been started in small cups and would love to see people and talk to them about the club and gardening in our area.Stevensville Garden Club is open to any individual with an interest in gardening, and visitors are always welcome at meetings, which are held at 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Community Baptist Church at the corner of Ravalli and Buck Streets in Stevensville. The Club’s mission is to advance gardening and the beautification of our community, to encourage neighborhood cooperation and stimulate civic improvement.The library is also hosting a First Friday musical event, as usual, in the Community Room of the library. Come get a plant and hear the Bittergrass String Band May 4. North Valley Public Library is located at 208 Main Street, Stevensville. For more information call 777-5061.
